update with vanco iv treatment

Progress, slower this time but progress..

Burning/ 100% gone
Weakness / 75% better. Still have some work here
Twitching / Seems to be the lingerer . Mostly at ankles and feet though and not at all times. Notice when I go to chiropractor it goes away for a while.

I was bitten in 2000 and went 2 years of misdiagnosis. Had 3 tests come back positive for lyme over a 1.5 year period. Have done quite a bit of abx and only IV works now. Actually had it knocked down for about 3-4 years in 2008. Lots of stress in last 4 years keeps it around. All neuro symptoms have left all the way several times. My Dr in jacksonville feels very strong in the persister lyme cells which only certain abx can touch. this seems to be my case as the vanco helps alot. Next time we will be trying the daptomycin. I was in touch with Dr Yang and his thinking is along these lines. ALSO I FEEL ALOT OF THE SICKNESS IS DUE TO FUNGUS. since i started the iv diflucan my tongue is clear and my arms are no longer dry and flack. Also I do not get tired after I eat anymore.

tcoach for persisters have you tried dapsone yet? Dr. H is very big on this and has had lots of success. Pyrazinamide is also another one that packs a greater punch than dapsone. bactrim is also known to be a mild persister drug and don't forget to treat them biofilms!
