LLMD IN BC CANADA

Hello,
I am currently waiting for results from IGeneX to confirm my suspicion of Lyme.

I cannot find any LLMD online and I am hoping somebody out there may know of somebody.

I am located in the Fraser Valley of BC, Canada.

There aren't any LLMD's who treat chronic Lyme in BC.
There is a GP in the Lower Mainland but she can only diagnose and treat for a few weeks under our health care plan because it's still not accepted that Lyme disease needs long term treatment.

People with LD will usually go to a LLND (popular one is in Richmond) or to Seattle to a LLMD there.

Hopefully we will see changes soon. A group of Lyme advocates recently went to the House of Commons for meetings and discussed changes that are necessary.

When you get the Igenex results - even if they aren't positive - if there are positive Lyme specific bands - it is significant.
