A couple months ago, I had some really strange symptoms in my left arm. Pain started in my armpit and then gradually moved down my arm over the next month and a half. about a week after the pain started in my armpit, I had a red patch (it looked more like small blood dots under the skin--I think it's called petechiae) that started to form near the inside of my elbow. It looked like a rash, but wasn't one. That gradually got larger and then turned into a normal looking bruise, then a discolored brownish/yellowish bruise. Mine didn't itch, but it hurt. I also got small painful nodules under the skin. After the initial rash looking bruise, I got a few more on my arm in different places. Come to find out, I tested positive for Bartonella, which is most the likely the cause of all my weird arm symptoms.

No bites or injuries that happened, so this all came out of nowhere for me.
