Symptoms of Interstitial Cystitis

Urinary frequency & urgency
Bladder pain with full bladder
Pain in perineum & urethra
Chronic pelvic pain
Vulvar/vaginal pain (female)
Pain in testicles (male)
Painful sex

This may be an article that could prove helpful for those that seem to have stubborn cases of IC.

Now if my urologist would read and believe.

He said he sees 100s of ic cases a year. How many are lyme/bart related?

Exactly, PK!!! Are you still seeing a LLMD? Maybe you can make some progress by approaching them first instead???

I just logged on and was going to post this same thing! I have had unexplained kidney trouble on and off for years! His articles have been so good!

My symptoms presented as IC before neuro stuff started. I was going to the bathroom every 10-15 minutes, burning/aching pain. BUT no UTI. It slowly got better. I've read biaxin/plaquenil is a good combo. My IC symptoms would flare everytime I started new antibiotics. I still have mild frequency but happy to say the other IC symptoms are behind me. I also had yeadt infection prior to this so I think candida could also play a part.
