What can i add to cover my bases with babesia

Never tested positive for babesia but i have the telltale symptoms- air hunger, night sweats, reduced oxygen uptake. Unless bart can cause all these i have to assume i have babs, as well

Im on the full Buhner bart/myco protocol and am slowly working up on lyme herbs, just to try them. Currently on:

Knotweed
Cordyceps
Red Root
Chinese Skullcap
Olive leaf
Sida Acuta
Houttuynia
Alchornea
Isatis
EGCG
Quercetin
Vit C
Collagen
Andrographis

Just started teasel and will be trying eleuthero soon.

If i recall coreectly, the abx regimen for babesia is CSA so would adding in cryptolepis be enough? Since i already have the Sida and Alchornea. Would like to cover all my bases.

I checked the buhnerhealinglyme.com site, and it says CSA or just sida Acuta. Says he no longer recommends artemisinin or artemisia for Babs. Says Sida will work better.

You're on quite a bit of herbs that cover numerous infections. I've heard comments from others who've recovered on Buhner's protocol that it wasn't necessary to take all the herbs for each infection. They said consistency was the most important factor. In other words, they started the protocol, increased doses, added all the herbs they needed to and continued until they got well.

I'm surprised you're not taking lion's mane or the other herbs he recommends for severe neurological/psychological symptoms. Have you ever tried lion's mane?

I didn't realize you were treating mycoplasma, too.

I don't think sida is antibacterial. I think it's to protect red blood cells. I was just reporting what I read on the website that was said about sida for babs.

The website isn't as comprehensive as his books. It does say in his book Bidens Pilosa instead of Alchornea Cordifolia.

Do you know why alchornea is not recommended in latest book. I am doing biden right now, but wondering If I could add alchornea unless there is an interaction.

The updated protocol is crypto, Sida, and Bidens Pilosa. (instead of Alchornea Cordifolia)

Cryptolepis is a good herb for Babesia.


You could add in some pulsing of Artemisinin.
