I've been thinking about
getting a stool test. I'm interested in seeing everything, but mostly yeast, fungi and bacteria.
Apparently the regular 16S method analyzes the bacteria in the gut, as an incomplete picture. To fully analyze the bacteria, viruses, bacteriophages, archaea, fungi, yeast, parasites and other organisms, a more complete testing is needed.
So it now seems that there's a more complete option from Viome.
