Tick bite reactions

So after doing some reading I have come across some articles that say tick bite reactions can also present in a rash and can be confused with lymes disease, but then a lot of people on this forum have said a rash is definitely lymes disease?

Is a rash always lymes?

A bullseye rash is always indicative of Lyme disease.

However not everyone gets bullseye and some just get a red rash.

I also have had the red rash reappear during my year of treatment in a few spots.

Not much more to add to goshawk's answer.

A true bullseye rash is Lyme disease.

If you get bit by a tick and you do get a rash that "could be" an EM (maybe not a classic presentation) - better safe than sorry - treat it as one.
