I've goggled a similar question many times in the past, with no answers.
Whether its a bio-chem change in muscle tissue, the debris, the hormonal stress, malfunctioning nerve signals......or all of the above.....there is little info [on why lyme can cause this this].
It seems that shoulder issues were the most popular pain area here this summer. Many posts on that.
