Lyme Doctor in Monmouth County, NJ

Hi,

I am totally new to the forum. I recently tested positive for Lyme as well as some probable co-infections!
Currently, I am looking for a reliable Lyme Literate (or LL/infectious disease) doctor in the Monmouth County area. I saw that there was an earlier post asking the same question, but due to forum privacy rules, there isn't any specific information with regards to doctors.
I have found a few, but the waitlist to get an appointment is massive. So I'm hoping anyone can put some suggestions my way.

I have started to read the intro to Lyme sticky and am just processing as much information as I can.

I've felt awful for a long time (both physically and now mentally) and am hoping to find a doctor who can help me on the road to recovery.

Hi there and welcome to our forum,

You might want to get on a few cancellations list with those llmd's. Sometimes people cancel for many reasons and you can get in earlier.

I'm sorry that you have Lyme and I hope you find a good llmd soon.

You can also go to ilads.org and request llmds for your area.

Hopefully others will be along soon to chime in.
