Hi , I had only one band 41 positive on western blot, I have neuro Lyme and co infections. My regular md kept saying I was negative a few years later I ended up in emergency room 3 times by ambulance and hospitalized. Im still treating since last September. These infections are serious and need to be treated.
These are descript
ions of your bands:
23-25 outer surface protein C (OspC), specific for Bb(Lyme)
41 flagellin protein of all spirochetes; this is usually the first to appear after a Bb infection and is specific for all Borrellia
58 unknown but may be a heat-shock Bb protein
66 cross-reactive for all Borrelia, common in all bacteria
You can go to ilads.org and print out their guidelines for testing and treatment. Maybe if your regular md reads them they might be able to start you o treatment while you search for an LLMD.
The CDC critera is not right and so many people get chronic Lyme and it may have been prevented if the interpretation of the testing was better and they could have received proper early treatment.
I wish you the best of healing , Take care, Jo
