Hi pegirl09 -
I agree with NicHostetler - you are experiencing a fantastic herx. The good news is it confirms the Interphase is effective. The bad news is it's a tough herx to tolerate and might be too much. I would give it a few more days and if you don't feel a little better, I would reduce Interphase dose.
The challenge with busting biofilms is that you are killing only the biofilm - not what is hiding inside. It's great that you're also on abx, etc. but you could be releasing other pathogens as well so you really need your immune system to be functioning optimally so that it can clean up the rest. So this is another reason to go a little more slowly, cautiously.
I would also be sure to incorporate a GI binder so that you are removing what you're killing as quickly as possible- the debris and toxins from the antimicrobial process can also generate sx. And since 70% of our immune function is the mucosal lining of the GI, the binder can help the immune system from being overwhelmed, too, by moving the GI toxins out of your body more quickly.
And go easy with the detox baths, which also draw out toxins, which can be done too quickly. Detox baths should feel soothing - a little herxing is to be expected for awhile but nothing severe. Gradually increase amount of Epsom salts or other ingredients as well as temperature and duration of soak over time.
You'll get past this - hang in there. It takes awhile before we figure out our groove and the right balance between doses and detoxing.
