Tinnitus and excessive floaters

So, Im new here everyone. Im sorry we have to deal with this terrible curse.

I am curious if anyone else has noticed the excessive amount of floaters as well as the unrelenting Tinnitus? I have Tinnitus in both ears as well as the excessive floaters that I swear look like the bacteria itself. I havent found any relief for either but maybe someone has. Any talk on this would be awesome.

Hi LymeWilly -- I, too, have excessive floaters. I had floaters before Lyme due to a hole in my retina that had to be repaired via laser 20 years ago. When the additional floaters appeared this past year, I saw my ophthalmologist to rule out a resurgent retina issue. Thankfully, my eyes were fine. I just need to finish Lyme treatment.

I had tinnitus, too. But that has largely disappeared with treatment. Hang in there, these symptoms do diminish with treatment. It just takes time.
