dont you just use a soup bone and cook it ..we raise are own beef?? Or are you just to use the bone??

Some roast the bone first. Some skip the essence that cooks to the top off. Some simply cook the bones.

Google search bone broth recipes, you'll get many ideas.

Turkey makes good bone broth, also.
