I'm flying solo through all this, so I feel your pain of not having help. I know you might not be there right now (heaven knows I'm not), but if you get to a decent point of health where you can be on your feet for about
30 minutes, I have found the cooking subscript
ion services like HelloFresh, BlueApron to be amazing. There's something about
having all the ingredients sent to my door instead of having to go to the grocery store that just made it so much more feasible (because if I went to the store, the rest of my day was shot). I always watch if those sites are having specials. Too expensive on their own, but when I have the energy and when I have the funds, I like seeing exactly what's going into my food, substituting my own gluten-free and dairy-free flours and butters when needed, and still getting some good variety in flavors. It seriously made me happy. Hope to get back to that point. Meals feed two--come on over, and we'll make a girlfriends' meal together and curse lazy men.
