Lyme/Bartonella South Florida Support?

Hi all,

I recently joined this forum and posted a diagnosis of Lyme/Bartonella. I'm still not accepting it as it doesn't feel totally right. However, I've been unwell for 1.5 years. I have started course of antibiotics (Minocycline to be followed next week by Rifampin).

My symptoms are nearly all psychiatric (started with IC, abdominal pain, and now minor joint pain and teeth tingling). To that end, I'm seeking support but have found little down here in South Florida. I'm in Miami. I am looking for a great psychiatrist. I'm also wondering if others suffering are near Miami to put together a support group? Please let me know. I've never felt alone but couldn't feel more so now.

Hello,

I actually moved back to Miami to treat my lyme (I was living in NY).
I'm not sure if there are any support groups down here, I've looked before but couldn't find anything. I know there are quite a few of us.

I have a psychiatrist who is very helpful - she doesn't know much about lyme but has a sister-in-law who has been diagnosed with it and has had severe cardiac issues that landed her in the hospital, so she is definitely more sympathetic than other doctors.
