Tincture Ratios

Does anyone know what the recommended tincture ratio is for Japanese Knotweed? I see that Crescent Moon Herbals states that theirs is 1:1 for dried leaf and flower products and 1:2 for dried root and bark products. Their prices are much lower than some of the other suppliers but I want to make sure that these ratios are good. Thanks for the help
