Should the Bartonella Striae Completely Disappear After Treatment?

Good morning -

My son was treated for Bartonella. The striae still remain.

Does that mean the infection is still active or can the striae be permanent?

It likely means the infection is still active. I havent heard of these marks being permanent. It can cause skin eruptions but these heal over time.

The only way I have determined to tell if I am improving is the breakouts get less severe over time.

Are they still colored...or more like stretch marks?

How long was your son treated?
