Hi i Gonna start buhner but am confused is lb core protokol the Right protokol?and whats the different between lb core protokol and lb tonic protokol?i gonna buy from here

Is it only for lyme or Can it kil other batteria/virus/parasite to?
Or is the protokol good to start with?

What about cowden is there Any place i Can buy it cheap?

This is in the Core Protocol:

Three capsules contain:

Japanese Knotweed root - 500 mg.
(Polygonum cuspidatum) - wildharvested - NE United States

Cat's Claw vine bark - 500 mg.
(Uncaria tomentosa) - wildharvested - Peru

Andrographis herb - 430 mg.
(Andrographis paniculata) - organic - India

Sarsaparilla root - 110 mg.
(Smilax spp.) - wildharvested - Jamaica/ Mexico

Dandelion herb - 110 mg.
(Taraxacum officinale) - organic - NE United States



This is the Tonic:

Three capsules contain:

Japanese Knotweed root - 500 mg.
(Polygonum cuspidatum) - wildharvested - NE United States

Cat's Claw vine bark - 500 mg.

Eleuthero root - 430 mg.

These are protocols for Lyme - not the coinfections .

You might want to consider buying the individual herbs so you can start with just one herb - and after a week or two add in the next one.. etc.

Also think about buying Buhners Healing Lyme book.

You will need to add other herbs to treat Bartonella, Babesia..etc

Girlie - do you know the correct dosage for the core liquid protocol green dragon? Is there a reason that this is less commonly used?

hammer, I'm not Girlie, but most often the liquid is because pills can be hard for some to take. So companies will make a liquid. As for the dosage, you should start with just a tiny bit the first day and see how you do. Just to see if there are any adverse reactions.

Then do the same for a couple of days. Then slightly move up the dosage day by day, until you are taking the recommended amount on the bottle. I have read that Green Dragon has great customer service, so you probably should call them.

Thanks for the response.

I know that the dosage on the pill bottles from green botanical are actually about 1/3 of buhners recommended dosage. Do you know if this is the case for th liquid as well?

The Cowden protocol is a good one, too.

Tinctures (liquid) are sometimes preferred because you can start at a really low dose easily. You can start with one or two drops of a tincture.

Buhner has recommended doses for each herb...so it makes it more difficult to take a liquid that has several herbs combined.

Have you thought about buying the herbs individually (in tincture form)?

Hi alunke82, I haven't tried the buhner protocol, though I do have his first book ( someplace, haha)

I chose to begin cowden because the natural practitioner I planned to see uses part of his protocol ( along with other things, specific to each person individually) .

I began with Samento & Burbur & then added Cumunda. I now also take the pinella / burbur combination.

I am pleased with the results so far! I definitely think they help, as I herxed like crazy especially at first! ( I've also had reduction if some symptoms) It literally took me 3 & 1/2 months to get up to 9 drops of Samento. I herxed the entire time.

But now ( even though I'm slowly increasing the Cumunda) I'm doing alright.

I am doing other things, so I can't swear 100% what the symptom reduction is coming from, but my gut feeling is that the cowden herbs I'm taking are a big part of it!

I'm not sure where you're looking to get these herbs though, so can't say if it's a good source or not.

Personally I get them all from nutrimedix ( tinctures ) and have been pleased...

I know nutrimedix is expensive...I'm not sure if there's anyplace less expensive that you can get the cowden herbs though... hopefully someone else will know for sure...

I will say that at least at first, the quantities you take of the cowden herbs are so small that a bottle lasts longer than you might expect.
