The dot is white and is not "dead-center". (More northwest). There is a darker red ring around it and then normal flesh.
I was awakened one night with something biting my foot. My bed is a sleigh-bed with iron scrollwork at the bottom and there was were the disturbance was. At first, I thought it was a flea bite. Our son had an outside cat, so when HE came in along came the fleas, and we are having a really bad flea-problem in GA. So when we fogged, I thought it was just that: a fleabite and treated it as such.
In about
3 weeks, the itching began and with it came the shampoo-buying, the p.o. meds, the perethine, lotions, cremes, etc. But nothing worked. After a dermo visit the Dr. came back with a "mite" diagnosis, and that's where everything started: The intense ER visits, the catching of the "worms", the eggs, nymphs, etc., so we could show the doctor. But no doctor would even look at them, preferring the delusional parasitosis diagnosis. One simply wrote "pruritis".
Nothing would work, I wasn't getting better and then a friend suggested a derma-pathological study, andf two days ago I had the biopsy done.
Of course I am stressed, girlie, but I don't believe that just by being stressed one can create an insectal parasite, do you? I told my wife I think I just dropped into...... "The TWILIGHT Zone".
That's my history, except for the fact I haven't to touch my wife since July, since Tuesday when they told me I wasn't contagious.
I appreciate your empathy and your help!
Q
PS: Whatever this is, is crawling out of every orifice I have (yes, even THAT one) and are the size of this: * and look like sesame seeds. When I comb through and kill one, there's a little high-pitched "pop" and it falls off. Everyone except my wife thought I had finally "flipped my lid". She was the one who helped me get the specimens together, from my urine, from my face and (in "worm" form, from my eyes.
That's why I am here. I have never, ever trolled a site and wouldn't take this much time, if we both weren't scared to death. We just both want to know so we can get to work fighting this thing.
I can also send you a pic of my foot if that would help.
