Igenex results should i see A LLMD? IgM 31 (I), 41(++)
IgG 31 (I), 34 (I), 41 (++)

B.burgdorferi IFA <41 (negative)

If a LLMD is suggested how do i find one in MA that will take insurance?

It depends on your symptoms and the mode of treatment you are interested in. I assume you might be suspecting Lyme because you are having symptoms.

If you are interested in antibiotic treatment, you will most likely need to work with an LLMD.

If you are interested in a herbal treatment approach, you have found the right place to start asking questions.

I think most people here would agree that your test does show exposure to borrelia.

Others will be along to give you LLMD suggestions.

I am not sure if my symptoms are lyme..thyroid..arthritus or adrenal.

I have brain fog, joint pain that comes and goes and swollen lymph nodes at times.

I am not really interested in long term antibiotics as they jave their own problems. So i guess herbal works for me.

I have added stivia in my tea daily...any more suggestions?

Many don't test positive on testing, so please know that Lyme should be a clinical diagnosis. Your symptoms are pretty typical of Lyme and Co-infections.

Thank you i read the new to Lyme info and knew most of what was there. Can someone in my shoes self treat?
Or is tge LLMD the best way to go?

If an LLMD os best i will repost and ask for help in my area.

It's a matter of preference. I'd struggle without the guidance of a llmd. But many do fine on their own. I'm glad my doctor does testing which aids in treatment.

I am on an elimination diet now working on leaky gut and would not want to mess it up with antibiotics unless definately necessary.
I would like the guidance but don't want to pay out of pocket unless absolutely necessary.

LLMD's are very expensive and you will most likely have to pay out of pocket to see one. I think most first appointments rang $600-1800.

Many people do self treat with herbal protocols. I see a lot of people using "Buhner's" herbs. I do not have herbal expertise to comment further, but there are many many people here that do.
