I'll ask the question first so reading my rant is optional.
Who has tried the iha formulation from Woodland essence?
What is/was your response?
I'm looking at it sitting here on my table and waiting for the right time to try it.
I tried the Hawthorne at 30 drops tid and it helps a bit of with the racing pounding heart sx.
Begin rant☺️
I haven't posted for a while as I've been feeling quite a bit better of late. I've been able to resume employment and just returned from a vacation. My first since falling ill 15 months ago. On a good day I feel about
90% of my old self. Lingering sx are agitation, anxiety, mild joint & muscle pain, and dizzy /foggy.
While I feel stronger from resistance training and have gained back my lost weight, my aerobic capacity needs rehabilitated. I did some short half mile hikes on rugged desert terrain and found my pulse up to 120 very quickly. Before I fell ill, it was very difficult to get myself up to my training zone of 108. Nonetheless I count my blessings.
I'm probably going to find a new llmd. I can't trust my current llmd. My wife saw him and he handed her lab results from a stool sample and sold her >$100 worth of supplements. Problem was, neither he nor she noticed the lab results were for a different patient. I noticed this error when she got home. Needless to say, we took the pills back for a refund.
Then, he Rx'd me cytomel, a thyroid t3 hormone. Good boy that I am, I tried it at a teeny tiny dose for 6 days and it threw me into an intense hyperthyroid state that is just now mostly abated after 2 weeks off of the stuff. I'm telling you, it was scary, any worse and I've have gone to the er.
Fool me, I went against my own better judgment and tried the cytomel. When I asked llmd why he was prescribing this, he seemed to freeze, and couldn't give me a satisfactory explanation other than it'll make me feel even better. My labs for FT3, ft4, and rt3 were in the reference range, about
1/3 above the bottom, but not optimal per Sttm people who say my rt3 is too high and FT3 too low.
People complain about
mainstream docs only treating the labs and not the symptoms, well, I think this llmd and previous naturopath did the same. My symptoms match more with hyperthyroid than hypo.
To be fair, my anxiety and agitation had become a bit worse before I started the cytomel. It varies throughout the day. At times it would be a 5/10 but usually a 1 or 2. Now it's almost back to pre cytomel levels.
I'm neither happy with the mainstream docs I've seen, nor the integrative docs. These integrative docs want to sell sell sell those expensive supplements whether you need them or not.
I think I have babesia somewhat under control and now it appears Bartonella is rearing it's head though I don't know who to believe about
Bartonella symptoms. Burrascano says one thing, Wayne Anderson says something else.
Anxiety / agitation Symptoms have shifted slightly, but hard to describe. I've been quick to anger. That makes me think bart.
Anxiety, agitation, and the heart racing and pounding in my chest have been hard for me to tolerate. I'm a wuss when it comes to this and nearly every antimicrobial I take worsens this within minutes. Herbs or abx. If I could better tolerate the anxiety herxes, I'd be 100% cured by now.
Thanks for reading.
Best Regards,
BJD
