Hi Raleighgirlie -
I'm going to make a pretty good educated guess about your results. I'm not sure what the ranges she references are but I can tell you what HLA+ probably means -
The HLA+ 15-6-51 genotype marker indicates you are positive for a genetic sensitivity to mold, so this suggests you have a predisposition to be mold-sensitive, and that if you have some exposure and associated symptoms, you should probably consider remediation if necessary, detoxing and treatment.
Mold can trigger many Lyme & Co sx and addressing the mold, detoxing it from your body can give a great boost to treatment and overall health. For serious cases, it can be a make-or-break road block to healing.
This marker is also suggesting you could have "post-Lyme' which means absolutely nothing - it's simply a reference to what we call chronic Lyme (the CDC/IDSA insist chronic Lyme doesn't exist and that we really have some "post-treatment syndrome" that, of course, produces exactly the same symptoms as Lyme but couldn't possibly be Lyme otherwise they'd have to admit their treatment protocols are nearly entirely ineffective).
And yes, it's also a marker for narcolepsy but we have genetic markers for MANY things we don't actually develop. If you do not have narcolepsy sx, then you don't have it. You would know - yes, you fall asleep uncontrollably.
Hope that's helpful!
