Howdy all! I think we all know how wonderful of an exercise swimming can be (just don't overdo it!)....I've looked through many good discussions on here. One thing that I haven't seen....
Is there a risk to others from a Lymie swimming in the same pool (or for that matter, any body of water)?
E.g. is there a plausible infection route by water?
I am assuming that I take a decent shower before hand to remove whatever "stuff" may be clinging loosely.
Does chlorine kill Lyme / coinf bugs?
And so forth.... Not to be paranoid about things but I sure wouldn't want to be the cause of getting someone else on this journey, if I can help it.
Second, is there a risk to self?
Highly chlorinated water on the skin? (I have found that using goggles, nose clip and ear plugs is very simple and helps a lot.)
Obviously there's overdoing it, but I think we're all already aware of that.
Seems like there was another that had popped into my head......
Less concerned about these (unless there's something major I haven't thought of); I know from this board that some with Lyme really benefit from aquatics...
Your thoughts?

(Of course, there's also my personal feelings about what I'll call the moral hazards of swimming in public...but that's a different discussion... Still chewing on that too, but I have means to mitigate them also.)
