Question about Igenex IFA

Quick question for y'all,

This forum has been a great help in the past few months while researching lyme, after my LLMD figured I had it (based on my symptoms and very high exposure risk).

I recently received my Igenex results and was curious what the deal was with the IFA Serum test. The result I received was positive (>80).

From researching on this forum, it looks like this test is not considered a great test, due to the fact that many people with lyme receive a negative result. The fact that I received a positive result from my understanding is further confirmation that I have lyme?

Any input would be appreciated, thank you so much everyone for your help on this forum!

The IFA and Elisa tests are generally used as a screening tool.
If they're positive, then they do the WB.

The IFA/Elisa are even more unreliable/inaccurate than the WB tests.

Yes, it is a good 'sign' that you do have lyme disease.
