Is your anziety more noticable with less daylight?

Since I'm feeling all around better, I'm more in tune with whats left over.

I posted about daylight before, It affects many people in the north, but more in terms of depression.

I always leaned more towards anxiety and notice it creeping back as longs days dwindle - which is why I posted the L-theanine post. Summer, if not super hot, seems so relaxing. Nothing like a summer morning, things to wish for in 6 months LOL.

Plus this time of year, I feel the need to get my house, vehicles and garage projects in order for the deep freeze. Anziety makes getting this done (where to start) more difficult than it should be.

Some question if thyroid changes during the cold season to- and thyroid has an influence on the brain chemicals.

Not me. my anxiety is more related to treatment and meds.


But I know for some people the fall/winter brings out some mood issues.

Winter is really rough for me. I love being outside, but it is hard in the cold cold dark north. I'm hoping to not have as awful of a winter this year as I have the last two.

I actually dont mind Feb, more sunny days, its light till 6, enough snow to do snow stuff, and its getting warmer. The darkness of Nov-Jan is like a rip off, and very inconvenient unless ones favorite activity is "couching"..

Getting a fatbike (snowbike) made winter more barable. Harder than it looks though in off road trail situations. A headlight brightens up snowy landscapes with ease. Something new to do, a winter "time killer" at best while waiting for summer to arrive.
