Also, what are your symptoms or other context for a possible tick bite?

It might be very helpful to read up on Lyme and symptoms to help understand if Lyme and/or coinfections are possibilities. Please read the "New to Lyme?" thread at the top of the page and let us know if you have any questions.

Unfortunately, the "IMG" tag does not work on this forum. Or, if it does, it's never worked for me.

1. Go to tinypic.com
2. Near the top of the page, look for the heading Upload Images & Videos.
3. Below that heading, click the Choose File button. A new window will open.
4. Navigate to the photo you wish to upload, select the image, and click the open button at the bottom of the window.
5. Without making any other changes, click the green UPLOAD NOW! button.
6. A small pop-up window will appear with a black box. Wait for a phrase to appear in that black box.
7. Type the phrase into the small box labeled "Your Answer." (This is to prevent spam.)
8. Click the green UPLOAD NOW! button.
9. Under the heading Share This Image, copy the link in the third box (titled "URL for E-Mail & IM") and paste it into your post.

Okay - i see the image. Wow - there's a lot of bruising/swelling .
I can't tell - is there a red spot in the middle?

Do you have any symptoms that are consistent with Lyme Disease?

Yes I think there was a small red spot. It's the only photo I have. It happened a while ago. I thought it was a spider bite but never checked with doctor. My husband heard of a case recently of someone with undiagnosed Lymes Diseaae which made me wonder about that bite. I have had a lot of fatigue. diagnosed with alopecia areata. joint pain, excessive sweating to name a few since this bite over 2 years ago. Have had bloodwork done etc. and nothing found. Haven't been tested for Lymes. Regularly took my dog for walks in wooded areas and have removed some tics from him in the past.
