Did the herx hit you faster the 2nd time around?

Holy herxville !

I am only 1 week into treatment and I am feeling it. I didn't feel like this until 2 weeks into treatment back in 2014.

For those that have done treatment a 2nd or 3rd time? Did the herxing hit you sooner?

Herxing can differ for everyone based not only on time but also any herbal or ABX changes.

It is wise to change "ammo" in the treatment "rounds". My LLMD also had make take a liver break in between rounds and checked liver ast, alt..

My first "round", the longest, on three ABX's at once , I herxed five months straight. Yes, five. I later discovered a liver detox gene issue which probably contributed to this misery, and treated this with D-limonene, one of the best almost unknown liver detoxers there is. Still take D-L to improve daily life. Liver health is everything.

Holy batman, astroman! A five month herx?! Geez.

Different approach. Different doctor this time. Doing 3 instead of 2 abx this time so probably also why I am feeling quicker.

Where did you test for the liver detox gene issue?

In my case 23andme gene testing brought some important non-lyme info to my attention that would never have been found otherwise. Dr quoted, If I was an alcoholic, the combo of constant booze with this gene issue prob would have killed me.

I discovered another very important gene thing too, which can be life saving knowledge, and it already helped myself at the ER already (me telling them the info, they confirmed it to be true).

23andme improved my life, no they did not pay me to say this LOL.
