Hi
How do people man age the very sore feet with Bart?
I am struggling as feet get from cold in shoes( l have raynauds too) but soles burn alot, and ties are icy.
There seems to be no circulation in my feet,just the soles get hot.
Can Bart just burn itself out and go,or am l.being hopeless optimistic?
It's been going on 6 weeks now and is very intense. Does the intensity get less at all?

No, Bartonella doesn't 'burn it self out' - sorry.

What has helped me - is wearing socks to bed...since I started that, I don't have issues in the morning.
However, I didn't have the heat - only pain and cold feet.

Maybe give it a try?

Treatment will resolve the symptoms.

Are you able to soak them in an Epsom salt foot bath. It may help a bit.

I had some medicine for bone spur pain, its a cream, I rubbed it on my feet and it helped with soreness.

Its made by Infinity and its called GD3CBB cream(N), you could maybe ask llmd or md about it. Mine was a prescription.


They also make foot warmers(they are a small package that can go in your boots) that may help.

what meds are you taking?

there are few studies on Bart, but the few that exist agree that the most effective treatment for Bart is The combination of doxycycline and rifampin

both must be taken together or the organism develops immunity.

I have studies if anyone is interested.

Thanks for that information, it's really helpful to have names of abx.
.lm not on anything yet, the UK tests came back negative and l fear it'll be a bit of a battle to get treatment here.
