scienceline.org/2017/11/lyme-bacteria-settled-north-america-far-earlier-thought/So a recent article surfaced on Scienceline.org, according to them, "Lyme Disease has been here for 20,000 years" and it's just "ecological changes" that has exacerbated this disease, not the "changes in the disease bacterium itself."
I'd like to comment on this topic, as LymeDisease.org had recently posted about
this on Facebook as well. I'd like to broaden people's minds a little before they jump the gun and think that this "same" borrelia has been here for thousands of years...
I'd also like to here other people's opinions on this forum.
First off, lets examine this statement...
"Lyme disease has been in North America more than 20,000 years"
Which borrelia strain or species are they referring too? Aren't there over 100 different strains? Like borrelia miyamotoi...
Just a guess, but I bet the aggressive strain that came out of lyme connecticut is a lot different than the strain or species that was found from a lactose intolerant caveman centuries ago. Couldn't you say that about
the food and grain we eat today? That's it's different and not the same... Wheat hybridized, other plants genetically modified.
I'm really surprised this Scienceline.org organization says there hasn't been changes in the disease bacterium itself. First off, with evolution and life, there's always changes happening right?
Last time I checked, scientists are able to genetically modify plants, what's not saying the strain that was brought over from Europe wasn't genetically modified over at a "special lab" we know of or in some way bred much more aggressive.
Let me tell you a story, once upon a time a scientist mated an African honey bee with a European Italian bee in the "1950s." It made a much more aggressive honey bee, what we know of today as the Killer Bee. What's funny about
the story is, the Killer Bee escaped quarantine and now it's found all across southern US and south america... My oh my what a coincidence, sounds somewhat relative to another story I once heard.
I very much base my opinion more on science fact than conspiracy theory of course and I completely agree that ecological changes like climate change, less small game predators and more mice and deer very much exacerbated this disease. But what I've seen from our healthcare and food industry, is the downright denial of science and manipulation of science behind this disease and others, so take warning. There may be more hidden factors than we might not know about
, which I'm trying to point out.
"Top scientists" from the CDC/IDSA denied this bacteria ever being chronic, denied both biofilms and round body forms. And manipulated studies behind Lyme...
And top scientists from our healthcare industry deny about
the unsafeness of GMOs, yet what ya know, look at the increase of digestive disease and disorders: Ulcerative colitis, Chrons, or Celica Disease. I'm sorry, but not a lot of these diseases weren't around when my grandparents grew up.
Point being, be careful what scientific group you're getting your information from! Who owns scienceline.org?
Scientists wonder why people so much question Climate Change. Well if you look at the history of science within our country, it hasn't been so scientific. It's been bought off... Lobbyists from the food industry influence scentific studies on sugar and sat fats, which was recently leaked. And they also lied about
cigarettes being healthy decades ago...
/www.nytimes.com/2016/09/13/well/eat/how-the-sugar-industry-shifted-blame-to-fat.html"The sugar industry paid scientists in the 1960s to play down the link between sugar and heart disease and promote saturated fat as the culprit instead, newly released historical documents show."
Curiosity plagues me, what other times have scientists and doctors been bought off... I recently heard that the CDC/IDSA doctors is being sued for conspiring with insurance companies to deny treatment.
I think what we're seeing is the failure of the system and without a doubt coverup after coverup. That's why any study that you read should be examined closely and thought about
in a different way.
I heard what Willy Burgdorfer's opinion was after he was interviewed many years ago about
this disease in relation to Plum Island. This was talked about
by microbiologist Tom Grier on Coast to Coast AM, which can be brought up in the archives of C2C.
You do enough digging, the truth is there....
It seems like anytime our country's dark history is brought up about
this disease, the caveman discovery or articles like these supposed to immediately debunk our country's history with Naz! scientist Erich Traub or Project Paperclip. It makes me sick!!!
Lets not ignore our history folks, but learn from it. Just my input on this topic...
