Lyme/bart and fibro

As my lyme symptoms have eased, and my bart symptoms have increased, I'm starting to wonder if fibromyalgia is lurking there too? Has anyone done treatment for fibromyalgia following lyme treatment?

My worse symptom is and always has been muscle pain. With little physical energy expended, I can start hurting. I helped carry in and set up our tree last night, and started hurting within a couple of hours.

I don't have the fibromyalgia tender points, but I do have bilateral muscle pain and it's near doings. Worse spots are feet, glute area into thigh and upper arms.

I know lyme is sometimes misdiagnosed as fibromyalgia. All my tests were "normal" except for Igenix.

Any thoughts appreciated!

I had no reason for my muscle pain. All of a sudden, without doing anything, my upper arm hurt as if someone had punched me in the arm muscle. It was so weird. Not doing anything and my calf muscles would hurt like I had just started running for the season. Strange muscle pains, they would come and go and always in a different spot. However the one on the upper arm was the most frequent and consistent one.

I did not have them checked out. I had had enough things checked out that came back as normal and I was imagining or crazy. I quickly quit getting tested for anything.

As I look back I remembered that most of my shots were given to me in that left arm. My Tetanus, my required for work flu shots, and my hep b series because I was transporting blood and fluids.

Once again I was reminded that lyme loves injured, hurt or someway not-so-perfect condition body parts to inhabit.

Fibro is the only thing I've read that mentioned the bilateral pain. It's so strange to hurt in the same places on both sides of my body.

I definitely have some questions for my next appointment.
