Up north central, in the event that winter sun shows, its low on the horizon until February. I hate this time of year, the bears got it figured out- hibernating sounds good!! I dont get real depressed, but some different anxiety mixed with low motivation.
Hard to get off my arse until Feb sun shines, its colder but sunny then. I think I was this way as a kid too, just vegged and watched tv in the winter, unless new snow meant a sled day.
I was thinking of a SAD light and researched it last year, made a post, my conclusion: its very inconvenient.
If someone wanted to use SAD lights in the AM, who has time for that before work? I dont. Like I'm going to sit in front of a light for 1-2 hours eating a long leasurly breakfast before work. NO TIME. If Its snowing, I need to get on the road, NOW, no time to sit around in front of some light.
A better solution: The ear canal will reflect blue light into the brain. They do this now at 12 min intravls with bluelight earbuds. Can do this while driving to work! Cool!:
/humancharger.com/product/I have not tried it , but I read good reviews once (maybe on amazon?)
Trouble sleeping? Your tech stuff should have bluelight filters on it using these at night, tablets, phone, PC ect....TV?
