Hi Kct!
I didn't do LBCore, I did antibiotics. Both my Naturopath and I thought I had it beat. I even went on to run a marathon in January of this year. Then, I relapsed. Or I thought we had gotten rid of all the bugs bug I hadn't and a weakened immune system from the race and training brought them all back out to play.
I am on an SSRI, too. I have been up and down on prozac. During treatment I have been as high as 60. Oddly enough, I am on 20mg. I think detoxing and alterations in diet assist in reducing inflamation/toxins thus anxiety and depression. Did you make adjustments to your diet to take out inflammatory foods?
I applaud you for CBT. Therapy is super helpful.
Anxiety was a major factor for me back in 2014. I know you were treating Lyme but I swear that darn Babesia is what shot my anxiety into the stratosphere. You might consider that was a missing piece in your treatment. Again, I am not familiar with the LBCore so you might have been treating it.
So. Being relapsed. I had to decide what I was going to do differently. I suggest you deciding what you are going to do differently for yourself this time. Folks here will give you great input.
This is what I am doing differently this time (fingers crossed).
1) Different doctor/different treatment protocol. Pulsing antibiotics
2) Loading up on supplements, probiotics (like VSL#3), and detoxing
3) Being kinder to myself. Saying no to social engagements when I am taxed out. Listening to my body
Hope this helps.
To your health and healing.
