My husband loves the show The Curse of Oak Island. I watch it with him sometimes, but it isn't that exciting for me.
Hubby paused a part on the show that he had recorded and the main guy, Rick Lagina, was bit by a tick and got a bull's eye.
Sad part was he was given antibiotics (it looked like one bottle) and told in 30 days he would be fine. But he would have to stay out of the sun.
I don't know how he is doing now. I sure hope next week they tell more about
his lyme.
Just grateful for more and more exposure that lyme is getting and there was a great picture of his bite/bull's eye.
He admits that if he did not know about
the bull's eye, he would have just stayed home and tried to get well.

Totally up my alley. I'll have to look it up. Always looking for something to watch while walking on the treadmill.
Glad they showed the bullseye and treated just wish it was a bit more.

It's on the History channel.
Oak Island is a tree-covered island on the south shore of Nova Scotia that has intrigued treasure hunters for more than 200 years. It is believed that the island is hiding one of the greatest treasures of all time, but no one to date has been able to find it. Enter Rick and Marty Lagina, brothers from Michigan who have bought the rights to much of the island to try to solve the mystery. The two use modern technology and good old American know-how to look for the treasure. But it won't be easy as the search is expensive and dangerous -- several people have died trying to strike it rich on Oak Island, inspiring the titular curse . The Laginas hope to avoid the curse long enough to find the treasure before they run out of money ... or worse.

Yeah it's a great show and we all should be thankful that rick is #1 going to be OK and #2 he is so persistent with his treasure vision that he is a natural born Lyme advocate! Anyone have any treatment advice for Mr. Lagina?

I sure do and I definitely was thinking of writing him. Especially to tell him that 30 days on one antibiotic may not do the trick.
