Live in Weston MO now trying to find a specialist locally.
Want to work but have mostly bad days. Don't want to be on disability. How much will my quality of life improve after treatment. Don't take pain meds(can't function on them) will the pain lessen?

I do have a few options for Missouri.

How much will quality of life improve after treatment? I'm banking on symptom resolution...

Symptoms can worsen when we start treatment...and can take awhile to improve..unfortunately.

But, if you don't treat, you can continue to get worse...

Thank you. I have been diagnosed with syncope & need a pace maker. But that aside was concerned about my neurological issues & pain going away.

All lyme symptoms can go away with treatment.

It won't happen quickly. It can take a long time.

I too have just been diagnosed with syncope and epilepsy, Im not sure I about this diagnosis and I am inclined to think its a symptom of the lyme. My neurologist doesnt believe in lyme and prescribed depakine for the epilepsy which has stopped the muscle twitching that was driving me crazy and is also helping me sleep better. I plan on treating lyme then weaning myself of the depakine to see if the twitches come back.
