Hey everyone. This is my first post but I've been reading here for about
a year now. You guys have already helped me more than I can say! I've had lyme for about
a year and a half. We caught it fast, treated it with doxy for 21 days, and then moved on to natural stuff when I still felt like crap and the ID Dr told me that the lyme IS gone but that I may continue to have symptoms for the rest of my life!
I did Vital Plan for a while but was getting worse instead of better... I realized after quiting that I was probably herxing but I was in denial at the time. (Their support system is awesome though and if I'd have listened more I may have done better on it. I have no complaints about
their product or their company and continue to learn from Dr. Rawls even though I no longer use their products.)
In March I started Jernigans neuro antitox after reading about
it here and I felt so immediately better! Because I felt so much better on that I went ahead and started their lyme protocol and have stayed on that since. I still have my good days and bad but even my bad days now are better than my good days before starting it.
I also have misc stuff that I take on top of that... Multivitamins, probiotics, teasel, colostrum, glutathione spray, and l-lysine are the main ones right now. I try to stay on top of detoxing with dry brushing, epsom salt baths, and charcoal when needed. Next month I plan to start The Life Tree's parasite cleanse because I feel like there's more than just lyme that needs addressed and that's where I think I need to start... I took mimosa pudica for a while and I herxed like crazy until I had to back off and then eventually stop. I've been working at getting myself better prepared before starting anything for parasites again... Getting my diet cleaned up again, getting my bowels moving regularly again... just getting rest and knowing that I'm in for hell when I start again and mentally preparing myself for that... The Life Tree seems to have a decent product for supporting your liver and colon while cleansing so I'm hoping that that will help next time... But I'm still nervous.
So I'm getting past the holidays and then starting again, that way if it goes bad and I feel like crap (can I say that here?) I am at home and have no plans to flake on and no fun to miss out on if I can't function like a normal human being. ;)
Anyways... That's the intro... Sorry so long...
Now my question... I've been trying to build myself back up and do some light exercising now that I can. I've been doing Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds, 2 miles is all I can do right now... but I'm working on it..., and I enjoy it but I need some variety. Does anyone have any favorite workout videos that are fairly light? I didn't realize how out of shape I was in until I started doing Walk Away The Pounds again... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! And anything available for free on youtube like sites even more so! ;)
Thanks for reading and for any thoughts! <3
