I am new to this forum and would appreciate any input on my recent test results:
Western Blot IgM
Negative
only band 41+
Western Blot IgG
Indeterminate
31+++
41+++
39 turned have way positive
After these results came in I decided to go a step further and had test 31kDa Epitope IgG done and it was a Positive result.
I also tested for some co-infections from a local lab and the following showed above normal
Candida Antibody Iga (H) 1.67 normal .88 or less
Candida Antibody IgG (H) 1.17 normal .88 or less
Candida Antibody IgM (h) 1.40 normal .88 or less
Herpes Virus 6
Cytomegalovirus IGG (H) 3.60 normal .60 or less
EB Virus Anti-VCA, IGG (H) 276.0 normal less than 18.0
EB Virus Nuclear Antigen IGG (H) 120.0 normal less than 18.0
CD57 for LYME disease:
Absolute CD3 (H) 2623 per UL normal 960-2600 per ul
Absolute CD57 (Low end) 66 per UL normal 60-360 per ul
Those of you that are versed in this disease, does it appear I have Lyme or not? This is so confusing.
Thanks so much in advance.
Hi latremax, welcome
Yes, your test results show you have Lyme. Band 31 rarely cross reacts with a virus - like EBV.
But the epitope test has confirmed it is Borrelia, which changed your IND to a positive result.
I'm assuming you have symptoms that led you to get tested?
It also looks like you have Candida and some viruses.
