I read this part in buhner's book about Red Sage and Skullcap and with my lyme fogged brain I mixed both tinctures together and took them.
I was so brain foggy. I don't recommend doing this. What if you are allergic to one of them?
I had no problem, but I did not even consider the consequences. I would never have discovered which one I was allergic to and I would have wasted one of the bottles being poured into the other.
Dingbat lyme brain mistake.
So, do one of the herbs, 1 drop, one time a day and on the next day do it 1 drop, 3 times a day. If you have no problems, go to 2 drops, 3 times a day. Then it is all in how daring you are. Maybe to to 5, 3 times a day. If you feel "off" in any way, back down on the number of drops, not the times per day.
After you think you are fine, go ahead and start the next herb.
This is NOT how most on here suggest. I kept on the one herb until I was at my maximum dose or close enough to the max dose that buhner suggests. Then I added in the next herb.
I went up rather quickly in my herbs by doing it this way and if I had any strange reactions, I could tell exactly which herb it was because I knew I was fine at the max dose of the last herb.
I healed doing it this way.
I don't think this is a popular way of this forum so I don't put it out there much. Feel free to email me if you want any particulars. I hate to go against this forum's general consensus.
