I got tested for lymes and I tested reactive for 18kd (igg) 41kd(igg) 58kd(igg) and 66 kd(igg) does that mean I have lymes disease. I have most of the symptoms feeling confused.. please help

I had very similar results 30, 41, 58, 66 all IGg. One band short of CDC positive. I also have symptoms. My LLMD and I believe that is enough to back up a clinical diagnosis.

I suspect most LLMD’s would also feel your results back up a diagnosis if your symptoms and exposure history indicate potential exposure.

Unfortunatley, testing is crap.

I would encourage you to find an LLMD if you have not already.

Others will be along to help you do so if you wish.

I am curious what region you are in, what are your symptoms, and do you remember a tick bite?

Thank you for the response... I live in the Philadelphia area, I had a tick on the back of my thigh and did not notice it for awhile, it had been there for some time.. I did not see any marks on my leg..I do not have a LLMD yet, I just got back the results on Saturday...my symptoms are light headedness on occasion, numbness of the hands and face tingling of the hands and face, pressure on occasion on the left side of my chest, not all the time.. feels like I am in a fog sometimes... did you have any of these

Godfather,

Was new at this 30 days ago. I'm by no mean a expert but can help you get stated. Lot's of reading

1. First read the START HERE first section in top of forum

2. Look for link to find a LLMD in you area, one a list the other is a request from a Lyme association. Also see instructions on how to make the request on this forum.

Make your appoint.


3. By 2 books, Healing Lyme (2nd ed) and Unlocking Lyme. Order ASAP and read these while your waiting to see the doc.

4. Print and fill this out prior and bring to doc.

5. Lots to read and understand. You most likely need to make a choice, with your doc, on how you want to proceed.

With Antibiotics and or Herb Protocol.. (These herbs really work)

There's 3 im aware of( no order of priority or recommendation )

a. Buhner Protocol
b. Rawls Protocol
c. Cowden Protocol

I started the Buhner but the other 2 seem to be more organized to buy the whole Month Proticol at once.

I also decided to start with Antibiotics for at least a few months.


FYI the books are both really good.

Also with a known tick bite and your Symptoms are most likely enough for a doc to start you on abx.

Plus you have 4 bands light up. Be sure to bring that test with you to doc.

Those are not Lyme specific bands but since you saw a tick on you followed by symptoms - I would make an appt with a LLMD.

What lab was that?

You don't necessarily need to buy those two books mentioned asap.

You can do some more reading, posting and decide.

If you want help finding a LLMD - start a thread: "Lookimg for LLMD in/near___" and fill in the blank.
Then enable your email option so members can send you names.

In addition to members suggestions - you can contact me and I may have some options for you. (But recommendations are best IMO)

Your symptoms are also very similar to mine. If I think back, those were some of my first symptoms.
Debilitating fatgue, crazy muscle twitching/spasms, double vision in one eye, and burning sensations in my shoulder blade skin area seemed to come later in the untreated 2 year progression.
