Hello! So I've been treating Babesia for almost a year, although I started super slowly and took awhile to titrate up. We tested the first time for babesia and bart over a year ago, bart was negative but Babesia was positive IgG Serum result was 80 (reference range is negative: <40). So my llmd said this was a very strong positive. We retested recently and this is what showed: IgM positive at 40, but IgG was negative. The reference says anything = or greatly then 40 is an active infection. So I don't get it! Does this mean I haven't treated long enough? I'm very confused. I'll throw in some other results too in case any of you have any input on them! My homocysteine was slightly high at 12.5 (reference range 4.5-12) and Girlie mentioned that CD57 isn't super accurate but I'll include that too: CD57 is 48, back when I first started having symptoms it was 70, so it's dropped vs getting better. It all puzzles me with my treatment. I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars (like a lot of us) and just question if I'm doing the right thing. I'm ready to just do herbs and let go of antibiotics and malarone, but not sure if this is a good idea or not. Anybody have any advice?? Thanks in advance!
