I took MCP 4g per day some times doubling up at night for 2 months before showing improvement. Then I ran out and ordered more and did another 2 months. I also took Monolauren with the MCP.
I would imagine MCP would be safe with all other treatments. Other good binders are Bentonite Clay, Chitosan (comparable to Welchol). Activated charcoal would need to be taken a minimum of 3 or more hours away from all other meds and supplements.
Each binder used works better for some aflatoxins than others. It is best to rotate the binders by changing up every few months.
I dont see any reason you cant treat these all at once.
I am taking Life Extention's Optimized Fucoidan daily at the tail end of treatment in hopes to prevent cancer from aflatoxin exposure. Brown seaweed would likely suffice and provide needed iodine for thyroid support.
Thanks for your input. You actually convinced me to try MCP. Hopefully I see some results.
Looked into fucoidan. Looks like a great product. I'm not familiar with the relationship between aflatoxin exposure and cancer, but you have brought it to my attention and will look into it. What is the best route for testing your home for mold? Read your in depth article on mold tactics. It is full of great information. Thank you.ERMI testing for the home is the leader I believe. I would also want to test the outdoor environment to have something close to a control reference for comparison.
I havent done this only because I am already aware that my home is mold sick. I have visually identified Alternaria which is easily identified because of its large spore size and rapid growth.
I have also observed a white powdery mold which has very fine particulate matter and grows in tiny short linear icicle patterns which I am curious about
but have been unable to identify. This just covers the visible mold.
I figure all mold is bad for health especially for a person with my genetic make up, so I am doing what I can to treat all of the mold as one but I respect their individual characteristics and this is why I will continue rotating all known binders. I wish you success in your treatment and thank you for the kind words on my post. You're welcome
I will try rotating binders as well.
I also have reactivated EBV. Titers were sky high. I read that monolaurin can be effective at treating this as well. Do you think monolaurin would be safe to add to buhners as well? Some people say that they suffer from major herxing from it.
