I finally tested positive for lyme disease... Now what?

I'm positive for the bands: Igm 41; IgG 93/83, 66, 58, 41, and 23.

I'm also positive for:
Human herpes virus-6
Chlamydia pneumonia
Mycoplasma pneumonia

I've got my diagnosis finally.

Now what?

So you have positive lyme specific bands (83/93 and 23) .
Are you interested in being treated by a LLMD?

Thank you so much for all help! I'm going to wait and see what my natropath, (who got right down to the source of my problems, after years of issues) recommendations are. My insurance won't cover an ILMD or LLMD. So I have to do more research on my part.

Thank you so much for your help! Once I get a few more answers from my doctor, I'll be posting more. I take everything with a grain of salt.

The best way I should have worded my question would be, what should I expect? Treatment, tests, prognosis, exc?

I'm sorry my question was so vague. I should have thought it through better. Brain fog was strong with me, and I had all of these questions flying around my head, along with research, research, research.

Hi,while Lyme and co infections are not something any of us would want, it still feels so good to know what we are dealing with.

Im so happy that you have found out what has been going on.

I would encourage you to add detoxing, plenty of rest, and supplements and food that can help your gut and immune system get stronger.

When you begin treatment some people will have herxing, which is caused by the die off of bacteria. This can increase symptoms and bring new ones out. The detoxing will help and also going slow when you start any protocol be it herbal or antibiotics will help too.

The timing of getting well is different for everyone . Due to factors like your overall health before infected, how long you were infected before treatment and our individual bodies(genes etc).
