Anyone get these........pain in the chest area. Sometimes the pain is mild. Sometimes it is stabbing or like a short electric shock of pain. It is right where my heart is. I had a ecg two months ago and Dr said everything was perfect. Went to bed last night and woke up feeling this pressure or pain in my chest. Starting to get heart palps back as well. All this was gone two months ago. Just started treating again 3 weeks ago. Thanks

Bowdren - you had it before and it went away with treatment?

Are you on the same treatment that you were on before?


I've had random pains and palps (I think?) in the heart area...but nothing confirmed.

I don't really know if it was palps or if it was muscle fasciculations.

Yes I've had it before and it slowly went away. Now I'm on a new treatment plan. What are muscle fasciculations

Hey Bowden,

I have had weird stabbing chest pains that come and go maybe a few times a week and then nothing for a couple months, then again. Its right under my left breast. I can tell its not my heart or stomache but its weird and hurts. Only last a few to 20 mins. My LLPA said Babesia likes to hide in the chest plate causing acute pains there. HMM weird but ok. As far as heart palps. they've come and go since starting different treatments 6 months ago. My heart always checks out good when I'm seeing the doc.

What about hands falling asleep. Mine a constantly falling asleep. Especially when laying down.

Twitches ,

I had them in the left chest area - and couldn’t tell if it was muscle twitching or my heart doing something it shouldn’t
I’ve had some pain in that area as well

almost every time your heart is fine and its either the muscles and/or nerves acting up. lyme and friends love to mess with your ANS. i've had that chest 'pains' for almost a year and still have them but they're much better with treatment.

nothing to worry about in terms of having heart problems if you've been checked out by a cardiologist and he says your fine. many of us have experienced this and it ends up being nothing.

I've both had/have chest pains where my heart is and my fingers and hands do fall asleep rather easily. I feel ya. I have Lyme and Mycoplasma confirmed. Waiting for mold toxcitiy results. I suspect it is from Lyme, but maybe it could be from a co such as myco. Mine is a sharp stabbing pain that comes and goes right where my heart is. One time it hurt so bad I thought I was going to die!

I also have/had chest pain over my heart as well as my ribs fort Ge last 4 or so years. Have had multiple tests done and heart is fine. Sometimes the pain will be right over my heart and then move across to the right side of my chest on the same plane. It comes and goes and when it happens I usually press hard down on the area in an effort to squash the bacteria smile. Now I know this is a tad off the wall but it does give me some satisfaction knowing that I might be given it back for all the times they have caused me pain.

I had it unilaterally first and it was scary painful at times. I was attempting to treat with sauna which helped scale back the pain a bit.

Someone told me that my pain was common with Morgellon's sufferers and she suggested Biaxin which made all of the difference. It took a little over 3 months treatment to clear but it became manageable soon after treatment.

The ecigs can cause irritation as some react poorly to propylene glycol, so for those who vape I recommend mostly vegetable glycerin. I cant see it causing the high level of pain that I was experiencing but it probably didnt help.

Pains pain pains. Yes, I have chest pains. Went to the ER a little over a month ago due to the pains (this was not the first time). All tests were negative - as usual. As I sit here typing, I have chest pains near the center of my chest as well as my back. This is Lyme f...ing with me. I'm convinced. My symptoms come and go about every three/four months. I'm currently going through a not-so- good time although the past four days have been better.

I started LDI last Friday and I'm not certain if it's connected as I also started Rifampin, Azithromycin, Bactrim and Tinidazole but was only on them for four days as my doc and I decided it was best to proceed with just the LDI and start Buhner's. I'm hopeful the two methods will help as I'm not keen on taking more abx.

I hope you the pains or other symptoms do not become over bearing. Hang in there.

My hands and feet get tingly, pins and needles. I also get palpitations, and stabbing pains in the chest. Sometimes a big palpitation will be followed by a brief lightheaded feeling, but never actually passing out.

8+ months of treatment has reduced the frequency of the above symptoms. And through it all, my heart checks out fine with EKG. The 24 hour heart monitor I wore did find multiple "early heart beats", but I was told they were within reasonable limits. For me, it's most likely just toxins building up and messing with my rythms.

Hi,

I have struggled with this same problem as one of my main symptoms. My tests also came back normal. I do think it's nerve related, since everything on tests comes back normal.

What helped me was my diet. I switched to being vegan with no grains, corn, soy, sugar, canola oil, citric acid, processed foods, low fats (including natural fats), and only using coconut or olive oil.

I noticed every time I ate something out of this diet my heart pain would come back really severe, especially fat.
