I got a root canal about 6 or 8 months ago. It has been feeling a little not right for a while , but I woke up this morning and it was actually hurting.
I finally decided to make an appointment with a natural dentist. I hate to spend a lot of money for just one tooth, but I really feel like whatever is wrong with the tooth is holding me back.
I guess I'll probably have to get it pulled and get some kind of denture since it's a front tooth. I wanted to get it pulled originally, but my dentist wouldn't pull it, and my oral surgeon wouldn't pull it. they all wanted to do a root canal, and I would have refused it, except that my tooth was dead as a doornail and infected.
I don't know any options except getting it pulled or re-doing the root canal. Everyone says it's better to keep your own tooth, but I just don't know how I could keep it, not knowing when it's going to start hurting again. Could this just be some kind of bartonella flare-up? I am feeling better now and I don't want to keep having to go back to the dentist.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
