I know it from a dental point of view (I was an office manager at dental clinic and filed tons of claims). It's a top premium insurance. Most private practices accept it especially if it's any where near a military base.
Deductibles are low. It normally covers a larger portion of cost than average insurance. It's definitely in the upper echelon of insurance. Rightfully so as military service people and their dependents should be taken care of, it's the least society can do.
I believe this is most likely the case crossing over to medical as well.
