What does high Lymps (Absolute) mean?

My bloodwork cam back:

Lymphs (absolute) : 3.8

Reference range: 0.7 - 3.1

Was hoping if someone knows what this means? I'm on antibiotics.

I think it's just a sign that you are fighting an infection...it's your immune system responding. I think that's what it means but I am sure someone else will chime in that knows

It think it means you have high white blood cells.

Your body is trying to fight something.

I would think so.

It's part of the WBC 's and it could be raised due to your body fighting an infection. (i.e. lyme....)
