Yes, this forum (all of it not just lyme) is hard to keep tract of your posts and participation's. The lyme part is the only active area of this whole big site. The owner has been very slow to make improvements and its kind of on cruise control with no driver. Been this way the last two years.
In my case, elevated night time adrenal/cortisol was partially causing the insomnia. And then, I would get more shaky with less sleep- there is a connection.
I took and still do, holy basil to lower cortisol and anxiety before bed and AM rising. My 24 hr saliva adrenal /cortisol test showed these levels. Holy basil will also lower glucse a little, so you need to know your glocose health levels. I have my own diabetes blood tester tester. I also took benadryl or ibuprofen PM to sleep. To fix AM grogginess I took cohline. (Benadryl is a acetyl-cohline receptor inhibitor, that is how it works to sleep.)
I also took Rx propranerolo for shaky hands to stay employed. Its a double use drug- BP med and anti- tremor med. With high cortisol, my BP was also a little elevated.
For my remaining muscle aches, I just started cissus capsules. It helps muscles and tendons rejuvenation, but not nerves. Great Amazon reviews on it.
