Through the years I have tried a lot for soft tissue support.
In addition to killing the critter load:
Try cissus capsules @ 600-1000mg x 4-6 a day, its all over bodybuilding forums as the best soft tissue support there is, above collegian and glucoseamine (does nothing).
Deep massage / self trigger point pressure with golf ball/other tools followed by topical DMSO also helps.
Protien, I found did nothing for tendons.
Lyme also causes tendon issues and re-surfaces past injuries. It would be my guess, many of these infections do.
