Stopping Treatment to do Testing

Found out I would have to stop all antimicrobials, which would include most of my herbs, including knotweed, for 2 weeks to do the SIBO test I wanted.

Has anyone else stopped all treatment for 2 weeks while still very symptomatic? What happened as a result?

I stopped treatment for 2 1/2 months approximately - when my liver enzymes climbed.

Not much happened really...maybe a few symptoms got worse again...nothing stands out so I'm thinking it wasn't too bad.

In fact I went to a concert (traveled) with a friend after about 5 weeks after stopping and I was doing okay.

Then I went on to bart treatment.
