I asked about Rifampin when the test results came back but he wanted me to finish Babs treatment plus he said the Mino and Zith would hit it (I've been on Mino for 2.5 weeks now, Zith since October).
I had a fever, neck pain, headache, and fatigue that began Sat night and left me in bed all day yesterday - not sure if it was a herx or not but leaning towards that way because I have bone pain right at my c6/c7 vertebrae level. When I woke this morning my fever was gone but I still didn't feel well enough to work which is a rare occurrence for me. I mean, it could certainly be the flu or bug/virus but who knows. As I sit here typing the bone pain and neck stiffness are still present.
Anyone ever use Voltaren (diclofenac gel) or NSAID's when this type of pain occurs? I have both available for use but I've held off because I wasn't sure if it would make me worse or not by adding in anti-inflammatory agents.
Is your bone pain - C spine just when touching/pressing on the area?
I have periodic bone pain base of my C spine but only when touching it. I found it when I was rubbing my neck muscles that were sore on that side.
I think non prescript
ion anti inflammatories is fine or topical NSAIDS.
It’s when pressing directly on the area which is new, the sore/tight neck muscles have been constant since being diagnosed.Okay - like mine . Mine really hurts - it's a sharp pain.
