Advice about Pau D’arco Tea

Well, I bought the Pau D’arco Tea was recommended on the forum here by many . Let it sip in hot water for a while, but when drinking it doesnt taste much, almost nothing. Wonder if I got a rather bad sample, can someone plz tell me what their tea would taste like and possibly a better way to prepare it ...?

Mine usually takes a while to seep- change color and get some flavor. It’s not particularly strong. But if it’s not doing anything, I don’t know what’s wrong. I know there’s inner bark and outer bark (don’t know the difference, just noticed the label).
